Louisville, KY – Cold and dry conditions will continue through Wednesday across central Kentucky and southern Indiana, with a slight chance of brief light snow or flurries late tonight, according to the National Weather Service in Louisville.

Forecasters say no accumulation is expected, but minor slick spots may develop on untreated roads, especially in areas that still have residual moisture from earlier precipitation. Temperatures will remain in the 30s through Thursday, dipping into the 20s overnight.

Looking ahead, there is also a low-confidence chance of light wintry precipitation on Friday, mainly across the southeastern half of Kentucky. Any impacts would be limited and dependent on exact timing and temperatures.

Drivers should remain cautious of potential icy patches overnight and early Thursday morning, particularly on bridges and elevated surfaces.
