According to the National Weather Service in Louisville, no hazardous weather is expected through at least Tuesday, keeping conditions calm for drivers, outdoor events, and late-summer travel. Spotter activation is not anticipated, and no severe weather alerts are in place.

In Louisville, afternoon highs will climb into the upper 80s Wednesday through Friday before peaking near 90 on Saturday. Southern Indiana communities including New Albany and Jeffersonville will see similar readings, while central Kentucky counties such as Hardin, Nelson, and Shelby can expect hot afternoons balanced by mild overnight lows in the upper 60s.

Calm winds and mostly clear skies will make for comfortable evenings, though residents should stay hydrated and limit strenuous activity during peak afternoon heat. With no rain in the forecast, lawns and gardens may begin to dry out, and area farmers could see soil moisture levels dip slightly heading into next week.
