Louisville, Ky. — A stretch of picture-perfect weather has settled across Kentucky, giving residents several days of sunshine, mild afternoons, and crisp nights. Highs Sunday will range between 72 and 78 degrees, offering an ideal day for outdoor plans along the Ohio River and in neighborhoods across Jefferson County.

According to the National Weather Service in Louisville, mostly clear skies will continue through midweek with steady warming each day. Afternoon highs on Monday should reach between 75 and 80 degrees before climbing into the upper 70s and mid-80s by Tuesday. The warmest temperatures are expected Wednesday when much of central Kentucky tops out between 83 and 88 degrees.

Travelers can expect dry roads and excellent visibility across the state, including along I-64, I-65, and I-71. With calm nights in the 50s and 60s, the stretch also brings comfortable sleeping weather without heavy humidity. Residents planning evening events should still carry a light jacket.

This quiet pattern should hold into late week, though forecasters note warmer, more humid air could return heading into next weekend.
