According to the NWS, a few storms on Sunday could be strong, producing gusty winds and heavy rainfall. Today’s temperatures are expected to range between 92-96°F with a heat index reaching 95-100°F. Scattered storms on Sunday will bring slightly cooler temperatures, ranging from 89-93°F, while the heat index remains high at 95-100°F. Monday will see mostly sunny skies with temperatures between 89-94°F.
Residents are advised to stay hydrated and take precautions against the heat. The NWS urges caution during storm events, recommending that people secure outdoor objects and avoid driving through flooded areas.
