Shreveport, LA – Rainy weather and moderate temperatures are set to dominate the forecast across Louisiana this week. Residents should prepare for persistent rainfall and cloud cover.

According to the US National Weather Service in Shreveport, today will see mostly cloudy skies with temperatures climbing to the mid-80s in the north and west of the state, while other areas will experience highs near 80 degrees. The heaviest rainfall is expected in the north central and northeast regions, with precipitation chances ranging from 50% to 90%.

The rainy conditions will continue into Thursday with an 80% chance of rain and temperatures reaching up to 81 degrees. By Friday, the rain is expected to taper off slightly, with a 65% chance of precipitation and temperatures around 85 degrees.

The weekend will bring some relief as the rain chances decrease to 40% on Saturday, accompanied by highs in the upper 80s. However, the wet weather isn’t over yet; Sunday will see a 50% chance of rain and temperatures approaching 90 degrees.

Looking ahead to early next week, Monday is forecasted to be sunny with a high of 94 degrees, providing a brief respite from the rain.
