Shreveport, LA – A mild spring drizzle is expected to start Sunday morning in Shreveport, bringing low visibility and potential slick roads across northwest Louisiana before a week of sunshine settles in.

According to the National Weather Service in Shreveport, patchy drizzle and clouds will linger into late Sunday morning, especially along I-20. Winds from the north will blow at 5 to 10 mph. Morning commuters should allow extra time and drive cautiously, particularly in low-lying areas where slick conditions could develop. Temperatures will gradually rise to a comfortable 64°F by the afternoon as skies begin to clear.

By Monday night, conditions will turn calm with a clear sky and a low near 39°F. Winds will drop to around 5 mph before becoming nearly calm, setting up for a chilly but tranquil night.

Tuesday brings a full spring turnaround. Expect bright sunshine, highs near 72°F, and a clear night with lows in the upper 40s. Wednesday and Thursday continue the trend with sunny skies and highs climbing to 77°F and 81°F respectively. Nighttime lows will range from 55°F to 57°F, making for a comfortable evening outdoors.

Looking ahead to Friday and Saturday, clear and sunny conditions will dominate, with highs nearing 79°F. Winds may increase slightly heading into the weekend, but no rain is expected.
