The National Weather Service warns that gusts could reach 25 mph, with heavy rain and lightning possible after 10 p.m., especially along I-20 and US-71.

According to the NWS Shreveport office, there’s a 40% chance of storms Monday night, with conditions remaining breezy through early Tuesday. A slight chance of additional thunderstorms continues after 1 p.m. Tuesday, though most of the day is expected to be mostly sunny with highs near 89°F. Winds will shift westward by the afternoon, signaling a transition toward drier, hotter air.

By Wednesday, Shreveport is expected to settle into more typical early summer weather. Highs will reach 90°F, with sunny skies and light winds. No rain is expected midweek, offering a reprieve for residents cleaning up or traveling post-storm.
