Alexandria, LA – A police-involved shooting in Alexandria on Tuesday night is under investigation by the Louisiana State Police Bureau of Investigations.
According to the Louisiana State Police, detectives were requested by the Alexandria Police Department to investigate the incident, which occurred around 10:06 p.m. on March 19 near Willow Glen Street and 3rd Street. Authorities are actively working to gather evidence and further details.
One individual was shot and transported to a local hospital. No officers were injured during the incident. Officials confirmed that the investigation remains ongoing, and additional information will be released as it becomes available.
