Authorities say 47-year-old Matthew Migliore of St. Amant was walking north in the northbound lane of LA 63 when he was struck by a 2007 Chevrolet Tahoe also traveling north.
Troopers reported that Migliore suffered serious injuries and was taken to a nearby hospital, where he later died. The driver of the Chevrolet was properly restrained and did not suffer any injuries.
