On Sunday, June 15, a Louisiana State Police Troop NOLA trooper identified the same Nissan Rogue. When officers attempted a traffic stop, the driver allegedly fled again, initiating another pursuit. The chase concluded when the Rogue crashed into a Louisiana State Police patrol unit.

Authorities confirmed the driver, 46-year-old Randy Darby, was taken into custody with support from the Slidell Police Department. Darby was booked into the St. Tammany Parish Jail.
