Loudoun County, VA – Two individuals allegedly tied to the “Felony Lane Gang,” a group responsible for a series of auto thefts and related crimes across the region, are now in custody, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office.
Authorities said the arrests followed a detailed investigation that connected the suspects to the gang, which has been linked to multiple incidents of stolen vehicles and break-ins. The Felony Lane Gang is known nationally for targeting cars parked at public places such as gyms, daycares, and shopping centers.
According to the sheriff’s office, criminals often take advantage of valuables left inside vehicles, even for short periods. Officials emphasized that drivers should avoid leaving purses, wallets, electronics, or other visible items inside cars.
The sheriff’s office also released a reminder for residents to stay alert and take preventative measures. “Never leave valuables in your vehicle, even for a short time,” the agency advised in its release.
No additional details on the suspects’ identities or charges have been made public at this time. Deputies noted that a video with more information is available through the department’s social media channels.
