According to the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office, 68-year-old Allen Jackson of Sterling was charged with simple assault and battery, a Class 1 misdemeanor, after allegedly striking a student aboard a bus serving Potowmack Elementary School on October 23, 2025.

The incident was reported to the Sheriff’s Office’s School Resource Officer Unit the following day, October 24. Following the investigation, Jackson was released on a summons and is scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
