Los Angeles, Calif. – Patchy drizzle will linger across Los Angeles Friday morning before storm chances return Saturday, bringing a brief but unsettled stretch of weather to Southern California.

According to the National Weather Service in Oxnard, light drizzle may dampen commutes Friday until late morning, followed by mostly cloudy skies and highs near 77. By Saturday, a weak system moving inland could trigger scattered showers and a slight chance of thunderstorms after 11 a.m., with localized downpours possible through the evening.

Communities across East Los Angeles, Glendale, and Pasadena may see brief periods of heavy rain, especially Saturday afternoon. Winds will stay light, though localized gusts may accompany thunderstorms. Drivers should plan for slick roads on the I-10, I-5, and 101 corridors, particularly during the Saturday evening rush.

Sunday looks drier and brighter, with partly sunny skies and highs in the upper 70s. Conditions stabilize next week, with several days of mostly sunny skies and gradually warming temperatures expected across Los Angeles County.

The National Weather Service notes storm chances diminish late Saturday night, leaving the region under calmer weather by Sunday morning.
