Los Angeles, CA – Early morning drivers around the coast should prepare for low visibility through at least Wednesday, as patchy fog continues to blanket Los Angeles overnight and into the mid-morning hours. While afternoons will bring clearing skies and mild temperatures, the fog could cause travel slowdowns on routes like the 405, 10, and Pacific Coast Highway.

According to the National Weather Service, patchy fog will develop each night before 11 a.m. through midweek, with temperatures ranging from the low 60s overnight to upper 70s by Thursday. Light winds from the southwest will pick up slightly into the afternoon hours, but no major gust events are expected. Coastal zones, including Santa Monica, LAX, and Venice, are under the highest visibility risk.

Dry, stable weather will likely hold into next weekend, but marine layer development remains strong during overnight hours. Fog-prone areas should plan for reduced visibility during commutes through Thursday.
