Los Angeles, CA – A rapid surge in inland heat will push temperatures toward 104°F by 10 a.m. Tuesday, creating a multi-day վտանգ for millions across Los Angeles and Ventura counties through Friday evening.
According to the National Weather Service in Los Angeles/Oxnard, a Heat Advisory remains in place until 10 a.m. Tuesday, followed immediately by an Extreme Heat Warning from 10 a.m. Tuesday to 8 p.m. Friday. Highs will range from 96 to 104°F across inland valleys, including the San Fernando Valley, Santa Clarita Valley, and San Gabriel Valley, with elevated overnight lows limiting recovery.
In the LA metro area, dense مناطق such as Downtown Los Angeles, Burbank, and Pasadena will see compounding heat during afternoon hours, especially along major corridors like I-5 and US-101. Communities in Ventura County, including Simi Valley, Ojai, and Thousand Oaks, will also face prolonged exposure risk, particularly in foothill neighborhoods where overnight cooling remains limited.
Residents should stay in air-conditioned spaces, hydrate frequently, and avoid strenuous activity during peak heat.
The heat will persist through Friday night, with additional alerts possible if elevated temperatures continue into the weekend.
