Lombard, Illinois — Installation of a new large box culvert storm sewer in the Catalina neighborhood continues this week with work starting on Hemlock Drive. The road will be closed between Larkspur and Wheeler Drive from July 21 to July 25.
Wheeler Drive was closed last week from July 14 through July 17 for the large box culvert storm sewer installation near Veterans Park. Work ended there on Thursday and a contractor began work on Hemlock Drive this week. Wheeler Drive is now fully reopened.
The Village of Orland Park asked residents to follow signage in this area and take posted detours. Delays should be expected and drivers should plan accordingly to take alternate routes.
