Lombard, Illinois — The United States Postal Service has informed the Village of Lombard that the LOmbard Retail Postal Store will be relocated.
The postal store has previously been located at the Yorktown Shopping Center. The Village said the proposed relocation is due to their decision not to renew the current lease.
The Postal Service is considering a few different location options still. They said the new location would stay in the 60148 ZIP Code with the same level of service.Options for the new location include a 700-square-foot building or approximately 11,000-square-foot site.
The Village invited residents and businesses to submit written comments on the proposal in the next 45 days. The address is listed on the Village of Lombard Facebook post.
