Lombard, IL – Police Conducting Training Exercise Near Hammerschmidt and Central

Lombard police officers will be conducting an indoor training exercise today from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. at a vacant house near Hammerschmidt Avenue and Central Avenue.

According to the Village of Lombard, the training is part of ongoing efforts to enhance officer preparedness and readiness. Officials shared the notice in advance to inform residents and prevent concerns about increased police presence in the area.

Signs will be posted indicating that a training exercise is in progress. The department thanks the community for its understanding.
