Lombard, IL – Guided Lilacia Park Tours Offered During Lilac Time Celebration

Lombard’s Lilac Time is quickly approaching, and visitors are invited to celebrate with guided tours of the stunning Lilacia Park. The tours, hosted by the Lombard Historical Society, will explore the rich history and beauty of the park, designed by renowned landscape architect Jens Jensen.

The tours will begin at 11 AM from the Carriage House (23 W. Maple St.), not at Lilacia Park itself. Attendees are encouraged to arrive 15 minutes early. Tickets are available for just $9 for adults and $5 for children, with a special Mother’s Day tour on Sunday, May 11, 2025. Advance registration is recommended, though walk-ins will be accommodated.

Tours last approximately 45 minutes to an hour and will be led by expert guides, providing a unique journey through the park. Attendees will learn about the lilacs and their special place in the park’s history, making for a memorable spring experience.

Parking is free at the museum, so visitors can easily access the tour and enjoy the blooming beauty of Lilacia Park.
