Lombard, IL – Local artisans, bakers, and creators still have time to secure a spot at one of the village’s most festive annual traditions as the Lombard Historical Society continues accepting vendors for the upcoming Jingle Bell Jubilee. The event takes place Saturday, December 6, from 4 to 8 p.m.

According to the Lombard Historical Society, only a limited number of spaces remain, and organizers hope to fill them with handmade, seasonal, and family-friendly goods. The vendor market, held in a large heated tent at 23 W. Maple Street, sits just steps away from Lilacia Park, where the popular tree lighting draws thousands of visitors each year.

The Jubilee will feature several family-oriented attractions, including Victorian Christmas tours inside the decorated Cottage, a Gingerbread House Contest with public voting, kids’ crafts and face painting at the Carriage House, and live carolers performing on the Cottage porch. Free candy canes will be offered while supplies last.

Vendors are encouraged to apply if they offer items such as holiday décor, handmade crafts, festive gifts, cozy seasonal creations, or baked goods. According to organizers, pastry vendors must hold a valid DuPage County Health Department permit. A hot chocolate and toffee truck has already been confirmed.

Officials say the event typically welcomes more than 1,200 visitors annually, giving vendors steady foot traffic throughout the evening. Each vendor space accommodates one 8-foot table and costs $125. Organizers note the Jubilee is a partnership with the Village of Lombard, Lombard Park District, and the Lombard Chamber of Commerce, creating a community-wide holiday celebration.

Those interested in participating can apply through the event’s online vendor form and share their handmade creations along “Gingerbread Way” during this year’s Jubilee.
