Logansport, IN – Logansport Police arrested three males in connection with a recent shooting investigation at 3019 S. Pennsylvania Ave. Those arrested include Edward Cook, 18, Christopher Zarate, 21, both of Logansport, and a juvenile male.
The Logansport Criminal Investigation Division (CID) revealed the suspects are facing charges of Aggravated Battery, a Level 3 felony, and Criminal Recklessness with a Deadly Weapon, a Level 5 felony. The suspects’ actions were considered a significant threat to community safety.
According to the Logansport Police Department, SWAT officers assisted in executing two of four search warrants. These warrants were essential for collecting evidence while ensuring the safety of all involved.
Logansport CID was aided by several agencies, including the Cass County Sheriff’s Department, Cass County Drug Task Force, Miami County Sheriff’s Department, and local emergency services.
