CHICAGO, IL – Individuals without health insurance have until the end of Wednesday to get a free COVID-19 vaccination or booster shot.
As the COVID-19 pandemic emergency comes to an end, federally-funded free vaccinations will no longer be available. Beginning Thursday, insurance providers will start processing requests for both tests and shots.
Healthcare providers urge uninsured Chicagoans to take advantage of this last opportunity for free shots.
