Fatal Shooting of 16-Year-Old Joliet Teen Tuesday

JOLIET, Ill – A 16-year-old is dead following a shooting in the 400 block of South Joliet Street Tuesday.

According to Joliet Police, officers responded to a report of a person shot at 7:57 PM. Upon arrival, they discovered a 16-year-old male victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Will County Coroner’s Office. Police have launched an an investigation into the incident.

No suspects are currently in custody.
