Motorcycle Crash Claims Lives of Pontiac Woman, Normal Man in Illinois

TONICA, Ill. – A heart-wrenching motorcycle crash near Tonica on Saturday night has left two lives tragically cut short. 

The LaSalle County Coroner’s Office has identified the victims as 60-year-old Anthony B. Harvey from Normal and 55-year-old Wendy C. McBeath from Pontiac.

The fatal incident unfolded on Route 178 at the Lowell Bridge, where a single-vehicle crash occurred. Details surrounding the accident are still emerging as authorities diligently investigate the circumstances. 

The LaSalle County Coroner’s Office has conducted a forensic autopsy, but the results are pending, adding to the mystery shrouding this unfortunate event.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
