Chicago Man Leads Police on Intense Foot Pursuit in Indiana, Resulting in Narcotics Bust

SCHERERVILLE, IN – A domestic battery report took an unexpected turn on Tuesday afternoon when a Christopher Washington, 51 of Chicago, sent Schererville police officers on a gripping foot chase near Route 30.

Officers swiftly apprehended after a short chase near the bustling roadway. According to Schererville Police, officers allegedly uncover a significant cache of illicit narcotics and a substantial sum of US currency concealed on Washington.

They would later discover Washington had an outstanding warrant from the Cook County Sheriff’s Department in Illinois.

Washington now faces a litany of alleged charges including multiple felonies including dealing in a narcotic drug along with domestic battery.
