Uptown Grille, located in Chebanse, has closed its doors temporarily to regroup.

The business, located at 141 S Chestnut Street in Chebanse, announced Tuesday the closure was a temporary one after cancelling reservations made over the weekend.

“We would like to thankfully confirm that none of our team has come in contact with Covid.” The restaurant  said in a Facebook Post Tuesday. “The Covid pandemic has been very hard to navigate as a small business and, although this is usually a wonderful high season for us, the Phase Four of the reopening has not brought back the amount of business that we need.”

The restaurant anticipates what they call, a new beginning and expects to announce a reopening date soon.
