Chebanse Motorcyclist’s Speeding Offense Unveils Hidden Gun

Chebanse, IL – A routine traffic stop on Wednesday led to the arrest of a motorcyclist for gun possession, as reported by Kankakee Sheriffs police. 

Christian L Duncan, a 45-year-old resident of Chebanse, was pulled over just after 4:30 p.m. for speeding on the interstate. Further investigation revealed that Duncan was allegedly driving with a suspended license. 

During the arrest, deputies discovered an alleged handgun in his pocket. Duncan now faces charges related to both the suspended license and the illegal possession of a firearm, and aggravated unlawful use of a weapon.

Duncan is now being held at the Jerome Combs Detention Center awaiting a bond hearing.
