BRADLEY, Ill. – The Village of Bradley is inviting community members to come and see its brand new fire station, Fire Station #2, on Saturday, May 20th. The open house event will take place from 9-11 a.m. at the station’s location on 1690 Newtowne Road.

The $3.5 million project includes a 3,500-square-foot addition to the property and extensive renovations to the existing 4,200-square-foot building, formerly the Bradley-Bourbonnais Chamber of Commerce office.

The village sought to add a second fire station in its northeast portion, where significant

residential and retail development has grown in recent years. The project was designed by Bright Architecture and has been in the planning stages since October 2021.

The open house will feature a pancake breakfast food truck, children’s fire swag, smoke detector raffles, and tours of the new facility. Community members are encouraged to attend, but breakfast will only be available to the first 150 guests.

Fire Station #2 is located directly behind Northfield Square Mall and across from Aspen Ridge Golf Course. It joins Bradley’s first fire station in serving the community’s emergency needs.
