Morris Police Investigating Armed Robbery at Subway Tuesday

MORRIS, Ill.  – Morris Police are investigating an armed robbery at a Subway restaurant at 1355 N. Division Street on Tuesday night.

According to police, it happened just after 10 pm when a suspect entered the restaurant, brandished what appeared to be a gun, and demanded money from the employees. The suspect was last seen walking northbound and is believed to be a male based on their build and movements. 

Police have released a description of the suspect, including a photo of the black hoodie with a white Reebok emblem on the sleeve. Investigators have located a black hair extension and are processing video footage from the scene.
