Toddler Shot in Face in Chicago: Gunfire Source Unknown

CHICAGO, IL – A 3-year-old boy is in serious condition tonight at Comer Children’s Hospital after being shot in the face.

According to reports, it happened around 3:30 pm Saturday in Chicago’s Calumet Heights neighborhood at a residence located in the 8800 block of South Euclid Avenue, near 88th Street. The child was rushed to a nearby hospital shortly after.

As detectives work tirelessly to determine the source of the gunfire, no suspects are in custody, leaving the community in shocked, searching for answers.
