BURR RIDGE, IL – A devastating accident occurred in a wooded stretch of land Thursday night when a train collided with a pedestrian at the intersection of 91st and Mahoney.

The wooded terrain presented challenges for emergency responders reaching the scene, but they promptly arrived to offer aid. The pedestrian’s condition remains unknown, leaving residents concerned. 

Details about the crash are expected to be released later today.
