The Indiana Sheriffs’ Association is gearing up for its 12th Annual Sheriff Robert “Buck” Stogsdill Open Bass Tournament. The event is named after former Brown County Sheriff “Buck” Stogsdill who passed away in 2011. The tournament will take place on April 29, 2023, at Lake Monroe-Cutright Ramp with a takeoff time of 7:00am.
The registration fee per team is $125.00, and this includes BIG BASS! Participants can also expect a huge raffle with food and drinks at the weigh-in, as well as coffee and donuts in the morning.
The ISA, established in 1930 and incorporated as a not-for-profit organization in 1977, is comprised of the 92 county Sheriffs, their deputies, and correctional staff. The association provides assistance to Sheriff’s Offices, enabling them to improve the delivery of law enforcement and correctional services to the citizens of the state.
All proceeds from the tournament will benefit the ISA’s Line of Duty Death Benefit, Youth Leadership Camps, and Scholarship Programs. To get involved or for more information, contact Tournament Director Shawn Harden at 317-833-5588. You can also visit the Indiana Sheriffs’ Association website or Facebook page.
