RENSSELAER, IN – A recent disorderly conduct incident in Rensselaer took a dangerous turn when a man was arrested for throwing bricks at a local business.

The disruptive episode unfolded last Wednesday morning at a business in the 700 block of North McKinley, just as the establishment was preparing to open for the day.

According to reports, 42-year-old Ryan Wright caught the attention of law enforcement when officers arrived at the scene. Wright claimed that he had been the victim of a theft, with several individuals, including some associated with the business, allegedly stealing thousands of dollars from him. However, upon searching the suspect, police made an alarming discovery—a syringe and a baggie containing methamphetamine were found in his possession.

As a result, Wright was promptly taken into custody and transported to the Jasper County Jail, where he faces charges related to drug possession.
