Caledonia, NY – Drivers in Livingston County will face delays this week as a key road in Caledonia is temporarily shut down.
According to the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office, Wadsworth Road in the town of Caledonia is now closed to all traffic for culvert replacement. The closure began Monday and will continue until work is completed. Officials did not immediately provide an end date.
The road closure is expected to impact commuters traveling through Caledonia and nearby communities, including Geneseo and Avon. Local traffic is advised to plan ahead and allow extra time for detours.
The Sheriff’s Office is urging drivers to follow posted detour signs and avoid the construction zone for safety. Crews will be working on the culvert to ensure long-term roadway stability and improved drainage.
