Livingston County, NY – Drug Bust: Fentanyl, Cocaine Seized in Mount Morris Raid

Mount Morris, NY – A Mount Morris resident was arrested this week on multiple felony drug charges after investigators discovered fentanyl and crack cocaine during a raid, according to the Livingston County Drug Task Force.

On Tuesday, November 4, 2025, members of the Livingston County Drug Task Force, assisted by the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office and the Mount Morris Police Department, executed a search warrant on Ellis Lane in the Village of Mount Morris. Authorities said the search led to the seizure of both crack cocaine and fentanyl.

According to officials, Mario Ramirez, 31, of Mount Morris, was arrested at the scene and charged with three counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree (Class B Felony), as well as additional felony and misdemeanor counts in the Fourth, Fifth, and Seventh Degrees.

Ramirez was processed at the Livingston County Jail and later arraigned before Town of Caledonia Justice Riggi, who released him on his own recognizance. He is scheduled to reappear in Mount Morris Village Court at a later date for further proceedings.

The Livingston County Public Defender’s Office represented Ramirez during arraignment, while the Livingston County District Attorney’s Office appeared for the prosecution.

The Livingston County Drug Task Force includes members from multiple agencies, including departments in Avon, Caledonia, Geneseo, Dansville, Mount Morris, and Nunda, as well as the State University Police at Geneseo and the Livingston County District Attorney’s Office.
