Livingston County, MI – The Livingston County Sheriff’s Office is calling on residents to help “Cram the Cruiser” this Saturday, November 22, during its annual food drive supporting local food banks ahead of the holiday season.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, deputies will be stationed at multiple grocery store locations across the county from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. collecting canned goods, non-perishables, and household paper products. The donations will benefit food pantries serving families in need throughout Livingston County.

Collection sites include Kroger stores in Brighton, Hamburg, Howell, and Hartland; Aldi locations in Howell and Brighton; Walmart stores in Howell and Fowlerville; and Busch’s Fresh Food Market in Pinckney.

Organizers said all contributions will go directly toward helping local families struggling with food insecurity as the colder months approach. “We’re grateful for the community’s continued generosity,” the department stated in a post announcing the event.

Residents are encouraged to stop by one of the collection points to make a donation and show support for the Sheriff’s Office’s community outreach efforts.
