Little Rock, AR – Arkansas residents can expect a stretch of warm, dry weather as high pressure continues to dominate the state’s forecast through Thursday, Oct. 2.
According to the National Weather Service in Little Rock, precipitation chances remain near zero across most cities including Conway, Batesville, and Hot Springs through Wednesday. Limited rain chances of just 5–10% appear in parts of southern Arkansas by Thursday.
Temperatures will stay above seasonal averages, with highs ranging from the mid-80s to lower 90s statewide. Little Rock is forecast to reach 86°F Sunday, 87°F Monday, and hold near the upper 80s through midweek. Northern Arkansas cities like Harrison and Mountain Home will stay slightly cooler, with highs in the upper 70s to mid-80s.
Calm and dry conditions are expected to make for easier travel and outdoor activity across much of Arkansas. However, the continued lack of rainfall may add to developing dryness in some areas.
The pattern is expected to persist into early October, though forecasters advise monitoring for updates in case rain chances increase toward the end of the week.
