LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Central and northern Arkansas are set for another warm, dry fall day, with afternoon highs reaching well into the 80s—several degrees above seasonal averages—as a stretch of quiet weather continues through midweek.

According to the National Weather Service in Little Rock, Wednesday morning started cool, with lows in the upper 50s to low 60s across most of the state. By afternoon, abundant sunshine and light southwest winds will lift temperatures into the low to upper 80s, with a few southern spots near 90°F. Conditions will remain clear and dry, providing ideal weather for harvest operations and outdoor work.

The pattern stays steady through Thursday before slightly cooler air filters in behind a weak front late in the week. Highs will dip into the low 80s Friday and upper 70s by the weekend, but no significant rain is expected through at least Sunday.

Residents can expect mild evenings and comfortable nights, with lows continuing in the mid to upper 50s. Travelers along I-40 and I-30 will enjoy smooth, dry conditions statewide.
