Lego bricks can be assembled and connected in many ways, to construct such objects as vehicles, buildings, and even working robots. Anything constructed can then be taken apart again, and the pieces used to make other objects. The toys were originally designed in the 1940s in Denmark and have achieved an international appeal.

Lisle, IL – The Morton Arboretum is set to host an innovative LEGO Train display, captivating audiences with miniature landscapes and model trains constructed from the iconic bricks. 

According to the event’s details, this family-friendly exhibition, designed by the Northern Illinois LEGO Train Club, will open to the public on February 24-25, with a special member preview on the morning of February 24. The exhibit promises a journey through LEGO cityscapes, complete with small trains navigating between skyscrapers and mythological creatures. 

The Arboretum highlights that while tickets for general admission are free, they must be picked up at the Visitor Center on the day of the visit. This event combines the art of LEGO building with the joy of model train collecting, creating an engaging experience for all ages.
