Glasgow, MT – The National Weather Service in Glasgow reports that light to moderate snow will continue across northeast Montana through this morning before tapering off by early afternoon. A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect for the entire region through noon today.
Most areas can expect storm totals of 2 to 4 inches, with locally higher amounts possible. Travel conditions will remain hazardous due to snow-covered roads and reduced visibility at times. Drivers are urged to use caution and allow extra time to reach destinations.
As the snow diminishes later today, bitterly cold temperatures will settle in behind the system. Lows are forecast to drop to near 0°F by Saturday night, leading to potentially dangerous wind chills for those outdoors without proper protection.
Residents are advised to bundle up, limit time outside, and check road conditions before traveling.
