Milwaukee, WI – Light rain is expected to turn into light snow late Saturday into Saturday night, bringing less than one inch of accumulation across much of southern Wisconsin, according to the National Weather Service Milwaukee/Sullivan.
Forecasters said rain will begin late Saturday morning and gradually transition to snow by evening as temperatures drop. The highest chances for measurable precipitation—between 50% and 95%—are expected in southern parts of the state, while central Wisconsin will see lower chances.
By Saturday night, slushy accumulations under one inch are possible, especially after midnight. The National Weather Service warns that slick spots may develop on elevated or untreated surfaces.
Sunday will bring noticeably colder air, with highs only in the 30s and gusty northwest winds reaching 20–30 mph. The forecast also calls for lingering light snow showers early in the day before skies clear.
Drivers should prepare for reduced visibility and slippery roads Saturday night into early Sunday, especially during temperature drops.
