Baltimore/Washington — Light snow continues this morning across the Alleghenies, with a rain and snow mix mainly east of the Blue Ridge and toward the I-95 metropolitan areas, according to the National Weather Service Baltimore/Washington office.

Forecasters expect precipitation to end over the mountains within the next one to two hours, while precipitation is likely to continue east of I-95 through the mid-afternoon.

The National Weather Service indicates the highest confidence for snowfall totals of one inch or more remains over northeast Maryland.
