Officers located the man, later identified as Victor A. Rodriguez, as the sole occupant of the parked vehicle. The school was not in session at the time.
Authorities said officers determined that no other individuals were involved. Following an on-scene investigation, Rodriguez was arrested and transported to the Libertyville Police Department. The Lake County State’s Attorney’s Office approved two charges: indecent exposure for sexual conduct within 500 feet of a secondary school and indecent exposure for lewd exposure of the body with intent to arouse within 500 feet of a secondary school.
Police said Rodriguez was later transferred to the Lake County Jail, where he remains in custody pending his first court appearance.
