COLUMBIA, S.C. – Three Lexington County men have been arrested on felony charges connected to the sexual exploitation of minors, according to South Carolina Attorney General Alan Wilson. The arrests follow separate investigations by the state’s Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force.
According to the Attorney General’s Office, Trey Leviticus Sullivan, 33, of Batesburg; Brandon Dwayne Bailey, 35, of Pelion; and Rashaud Mandrell Price, 25, of Lexington, were arrested earlier this month following CyberTipline reports from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC).
Investigators said Sullivan and Price allegedly distributed files containing child sexual abuse material (CSAM), while Bailey allegedly possessed such files. The Lexington County Sheriff’s Department, a member of the ICAC Task Force, led the investigations with assistance from the Attorney General’s Office.
Sullivan was arrested October 10, facing two counts of second-degree sexual exploitation of a minor. Price was arrested October 16, charged with one count of the same offense. Bailey was arrested October 13, and faces three counts of third-degree sexual exploitation of a minor. Each charge is a felony punishable by up to 10 years in prison per count.
The Attorney General’s Office will prosecute all three cases. Wilson emphasized that all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in court.
