Aberdeen, WA – A 58-year-old Winlock man was arrested Friday after a multi-county narcotics investigation led to a large drug bust, according to the Grays Harbor County Sheriff’s Office.

The arrest came September 26, when the Grays Harbor Drug Task Force, working with the Joint Narcotics Enforcement Team (JNET) and Lewis County deputies, executed a search warrant in the 200 block of Hawkins Road in Winlock. Investigators said the raid followed several controlled drug purchases tied to the suspect.

According to deputies, the man was identified as a major drug dealer impacting both Grays Harbor County and surrounding communities. Before the warrant was carried out, detectives reportedly took the suspect into custody in the Maytown area. He was booked into Grays Harbor County Jail on charges that include:

  • Three counts of delivery of a controlled substance,
  • One count of possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute, and
  • Two counts of money laundering.

Authorities reported seizing about 58 grams of suspected methamphetamine along with $62,000 in U.S. currency during the operation.

“This investigation highlights the strong collaboration between our local and regional partners,” the sheriff’s office stated. Officials added that the arrest underscores their commitment to keeping dangerous drugs out of area communities.
