Fort Myers, FL – A Fort Myers man has been arrested on multiple drug trafficking charges following a months-long narcotics investigation linked to the ongoing Club Blu shooting case, according to the Lee County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO).
Authorities say Tristan McCrea was taken into custody Tuesday by the LCSO Tactical Narcotics Team at his home on Delaware Avenue. McCrea is accused of working alongside Derrick Church, a co-defendant in the Club Blu shooting case, in distributing illegal narcotics throughout the area.
According to the sheriff’s office, McCrea was allegedly involved in numerous drug transactions with Church, which were observed over several months by detectives with the LCSO Narcotics Unit.
McCrea now faces four counts of trafficking fentanyl, two counts of sale of a controlled substance, and two counts of possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell. Officials said the investigation is part of a broader effort to dismantle networks connected to violent crime and drug activity in Lee County.
The arrest follows a recent operation where deputies raided a suspected stash house in Fort Myers linked to the same investigation.
Residents are encouraged to report suspicious activity through the Lee County Sheriff’s Office Crime Stoppers tip line.
