Las Vegas, Nevada – Las Vegas residents are facing another stretch of searing heat and hazy skies as temperatures continue to climb above 108°F through Saturday, with some areas likely topping 110°F by Thursday. Widespread haze and gusty winds could compound health risks for vulnerable groups, while overnight lows barely fall below the 80s.

According to the National Weather Service in Las Vegas, high pressure will lock in hot and dry conditions for the rest of the week. Light winds will increase by Wednesday afternoon, with gusts nearing 24 mph and peaking up to 29 mph Thursday. Haze is expected to linger each morning, reducing visibility and exacerbating respiratory concerns, especially near the Strip and in outlying desert areas.

Wednesday: Sunny and hot after morning haze, high near 108°F. Winds gusting up to 24 mph.
Thursday: Blistering heat continues, high near 109°F. Gusts up to 29 mph. Hazy overnight.

Saturday: Heat holds with a high near 106°F, overnight low around 81°F.
Sunday: Still hot, high near 107°F with clearer skies and calmer wind.

While no Excessive Heat Warning has been issued yet, residents should limit outdoor activity, stay hydrated, and keep cooling systems maintained. Temperatures are expected to ease slightly early next week, but dangerous conditions persist into Sunday.
