LAS VEGAS – For the first time, Las Vegas will celebrate the traditions of Latinx communities with the Latin Heritage Parade.

The free, family-friendly parade will take place at 6 p.m. Tuesday, September 16, 2025, , along Park Centre Drive in Downtown Summerlin. Presented by Fletcher Jones Nevada in partnership with the Nevada Latino Arts and Culture Association, the event will feature dance, music, and cultural performances.

Downtown Summerlin has previously hosted parades celebrating Asian and Pacific Islander heritage. Organizers say the new Latin Heritage Parade is a joyful display of pride and unity at a time of polarization for Latin communities in the U.S.

“Adding the Latin Heritage Parade to our existing parade line-up at Downtown Summerlin is a natural, given our community’s rich Latin heritage and Downtown Summerlin’s ideal parade setting,” said Halee Harczynski, senior marketing director of Downtown Summerlin.

Pre-parade performances will begin at 5:30 p.m., showcasing local talent and traditional costumes from Bolivia, Peru, Mexico, and Nicaragua. While Las Vegas is often known for the iconic strip, organizers say events like this highlight the city’s cultural richness beyond resorts. Harczynski said she expects the community to embrace the new parade and hopes it grows into a recurring tradition in Las Vegas and beyond.
