Las Vegas, NV — The desert sky is deep black and crystal clear before sunrise, the Strip lights gleaming against the quiet sand-colored hills. It’s calm and dry — classic late October weather — and it’s sticking around a bit longer.
High pressure continues to anchor across the Southwest, keeping Las Vegas warm and dry through the weekend. Expect daytime highs near 82°F to 83°F and clear skies from Friday through Sunday, with little to no wind. Early risers will feel the desert’s crisp start around 60°F, quickly replaced by golden sun and comfortable heat by mid-morning.
Friday and Saturday look nearly identical, offering ideal weather for outdoor events, late-night walks, or Halloween-weekend festivities. With humidity around 20%, the air will stay dry, but that means skin and sinuses may feel it — stay hydrated and limit prolonged time outdoors during peak afternoon hours.
However, models are beginning to flag a pattern change around November 8–12, when a Pacific trough could dip south, bringing cooler air and gusty winds across southern Nevada. While no rain is expected yet, the setup may mark the start of Las Vegas’s first true fall cooldown before Thanksgiving.
For now, the weekend stays serene — sunny, warm, and dry — but November’s shift toward winter is quietly lining up on the horizon.
