Las Vegas, Nevada — A warm and dry weather pattern will continue across southern Nevada over the next several days, with temperatures running well above normal and gusty winds lingering in parts of the region.

According to the National Weather Service in Las Vegas, temperatures are expected to remain about 10 degrees above seasonal averages, with clear skies and generally light winds across much of the area. Highs in Las Vegas are forecast near 68 degrees today and Friday, easing slightly into the mid-60s through the weekend and early next week.

However, forecasters caution that gusty north winds will persist along the Colorado River Valley, including areas near Laughlin and Lake Mohave. These winds may produce waves of 1 to 3 feet, creating hazardous conditions for small watercraft.

Communities across the region are expected to see mild daytime temperatures, including highs in the low to mid-70s in Laughlin, upper 60s to low 70s in Kingman and Daggett, and mid-60s in Bishop. Overnight conditions will remain cool but seasonable.

The National Weather Service advises boaters on Lake Mohave to use caution due to choppy waters caused by the persistent northerly winds. Conditions may vary significantly near open water and canyon areas where winds can accelerate.

No precipitation is expected through at least Monday, and the dry, stable pattern is forecast to continue into early next week.
